Don't buy anything but generic bars and rounds. 1-10 oz. Google spot price deals. Several companies offer silver at spot for new customers. Buying eagles/pandas/art rounds is a waste. They are only worth silver value. You'll never get past the premium you pay for them.

I completely disagree with this kind of stacking. It may be enjoyable on one level and minimally profitable if the market maintains, but if the dollar fails, coins like Pandas and other exotics are going to be worth the same as an American Eagle and you paid way too much for them to begin with. By the sound of your voice, you are in the wrong business. You can like silver but not be in love with silver. It sounds like you buy and sell way too much. With sometimes up to 25% spot fees for buying a coin, you CAN"T keep swapping out coins every few months just because you don't like them anymore or you LOVE a new one that comes out. This is a serious investment for your future and your life could depend on it. Plus, silver is heavy and difficult to store. Once I had $5000 worth of silver, mostly 90% junk and American Eagles, I started buying gold. Down the line if the dollar craps out, I can always find someone to trade an ounce on gold for another bag of silver coins or whatever I need. Let them do the heavy lifting. I've had 80 pounds of bullion in my closet before and its not convenient.

bullshit u recomend not tuch and store your siver if economy collapse what price diffrent there will be betwen a never tuched coin or a normal coin if u a coincollector it matters alittle bit maybe but most of us stack silver for whelthtransfer in wich case a fingerprint on the bcoin will not matter at all,iif u an investor u might just buy bar with no premium.

Canadian Maple Leaf and Super Leaf 1.5 oz, bottom is $5 and $8 Canadian. If the bottom drops out, you can spend them as currency. Bullion, not so much.

liquidate your stack........... you dont want to liquify your stack......unless you want one really big silver bar than liquifying your stack would make complete sense :D

Sorry if you've addressed this in a vid, but I started binge watching your channel today lol, but do you keep up with what you paid for each individual piece, or use a log or inventory book/app? Thanks for another easy to understand vid.

Thanks SS, I always buy things I like because then I know I will enjoy them regardless. I agree with trying to buy 2 when possible because I keep one for me and keep the rest to sell later. By the way, How do the tarnish strips work?

Great advice! Love the part about your panda coin. Last week I went to my local coin shop and filled another tube of 1 oz rounds, but I was torn on picking up a silver eagle that caught my eye under the display case. I have to go back and get it because its just a piece of art to me that I will never sell in my lifetime, just like your panda. Its a 2013 w reverse proof silver eagle PR70 and its just a beautiful piece and I can not wait to have it be the centerpiece of my stack. Great video brother

I don't agree with having three times more  fiat currency than silver but you should definetly have enough buffer cash to take care of yourself for atleast a couple months

Another terrific video and you provide sound advice.

All your tips are important and in particular, your tips about “Buy what you like” and ‘Fiat money is the most liquid asset’ are crucial tips that cannot be overstated and are worth repeating by anyone who seeks to give advice about stacking/collecting coins.

One thing you should be aware of, coin capsules and most professional TPG slabs are NOT air tight . Even PCGS’ new holder  (see here: https://www.pcgs.com/news/PCGS-Introduces-Superior-New-Holder) is alleged to have some serious problems. This means that air and chemical vapors can still attack the coin/medal inside the capsule/slab. As most silver collectors/stackers know, the development of milk spots can be exacerbated by environmental exposure (exposure to the air). All my coins, medals, and bars that have some numismatic premium that are already in capsules or slabs are additionally stored in air tight plastic bags. One doesn't necessarily have to buy expensive 'coin armour' plastic bags to ensure that their encapsulated coins are protected from environmental damage....but of course one does need to be cautious about plastic bags which contain PVC plasticizers. Such chemicals are very reactive to silver.

Nice Video! Today I placed a pre-order for the new Angels & Demons Steampunk Collection at Provident. I used a credit I had from two weeks ago for QTY:5 of the 1/2 oz proof Year of the Goat. I received the 5 - 1 oz proofs; but not he 1/2 oz. I was told by Provident they made a mistake and did not have the 1/2 oz proof in stock. Anyone else have this experience?

all my LCS dealers are money grubbing asshats, that's why I buy online! I saw a vid on youtube on the slabbed Silver kruggerand, the SP70 stands for Specimen, so more Nuisimatic value than bullion.
